SIM as a trainer
 

Training is an investment in the future of our company. SIM always welcomes motivated and talented graduates apprentices at our company events. At our company, we guarantee you will learn an occupation with blooming prospects for the future. After all, pioneering new technologies are currently being developed in mechanical engineering in the automotive and aviation industries.

Apprenticeships at SIM Automation last 3.5 years. In your first year of apprenticeship, you will receive basic training in our workshop, followed by further years in specialized training in the respective departments always with guidance of an experienced professional. You will also participate in further training courses via the company training association.

Mechatronics engineer
Vocational college: Mühlhausen

Tasks:
- Designing mechatronic components and devices
- Installation of mechatronic systems, configuration, commissioning and instructing the machine operator on correct operation
- Maintenance and inspection of mechatronic plants, replacement of defective or malfunctioning components and retrofitting of outdated plants
- Creation of technical documentation: construction drawings, assembly and circuit diagrams, manuals and operating instructions

Industrial engineer
Vocational college: Leinefelde

Tasks:

- Installing, servicing and repairing technical equipment, machines and plants
- Manufacturing components and assemblies
- Monitoring production processes
- Instructing customers or colleagues on how to use the equipment

Cutting machine technician
Vocational college: Leinefelde

Tasks:

- Processing metal parts by hand or using machines, such as turning, milling and grinding
- Assembling individual components into assemblies
- Configuration and maintenance of tooling machines, checking the machine run
- Checking the quality of the manufactured components
